Directions to create and donate kits
Directions for donors and volunteers:
Thank you for supporting the Heritage Arts Foundation in collecting art supplies and assembling art therapy kits for our community. If your family or organization would like to participate by gathering supplies and assembling kits, please refer to the supply list and assembly instructions provided below.
Kit assemblage instructions:
We offer two sizes of art therapy kits: one for children (ages 3–12) and another for teens (ages 13–18). Below, you’ll find links to Amazon and Walmart where you can purchase supplies that match the size and specifications of the kits. These links are provided as examples; feel free to choose alternative brands and styles, but please ensure that the product size and quantity do not exceed the specified limits. All items have been carefully selected for a specific purpose. If you’d like to modify the contents, please contact us for approval.
Cost:
The provided supply list outlines the required quantity for each item, and the total cost should not exceed $25 per kit. If staying within this budget is challenging, please contact us for guidance on more affordable options. It is essential that every listed item is included in each kit.
Printables – Tag and Content List
Additionally, each kit must contain a printed tag and a content list. Printable graphics for these are available below and are formatted to fit an 8.5” x 11” sheet of white cardstock. You should be able to print them at home.
Donation of supplies:
If you’d like to donate specific supplies in any quantity, you can drop them off at the Alpine Art Center, located at 450 S Alpine Hwy, Alpine, Utah, 84004. We will assemble the kits at our facility as we receive the supplies. If you’re unsure about what items are needed or what to donate, please contact us for more details at 206.446.0590
Monetary Donation:
We accept monetary donations through our website, these donations will be used to purchase supplies for volunteers to assemble.
