Heritage Arts Foundation – Who We Are
The Heritage Arts Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation organized with one of its goals being to help bring to the Great State of Utah, the awareness that some of the world’s highest quality and caliber artwork is created and produced here within the borders of this Great State. Another goal is to bring to the citizens of Utah, the exposure to the rich heritage of the fine visual arts we have in the United States, which has lead the world’s art scene since almost the formation of our great nation. While this organization works with all the fine arts, the primary focus is on advocating for increasing the implementation of sculpture for public and corporate placement.
It was founded in 2003 with the primary vision to build a sculpture park in Alpine Utah. During its life, it has provided for art classes, performing art concerts, presentations, and the fundraising for key sculpture projects which have placed sculptures in public places all over Utah.
We look forward to continuing our mission by building a sculpture park as well as other projects throughout the State.

Scott Streadbeck, Board President
Scott’s exposure to sculpture and bronze casting began early in life, thanks to his family’s involvement in a family-owned bronze foundry. Scott vividly recalls the intense heat of the glowing furnace and the excitement of watching molten bronze being poured into ceramic shells. Scott fondly remembers watching sculptor Dennis Smith create a large monument destined for Japan. Dennis, who answered Scott’s questions, instilled in him a strong appreciation for artistic dedication—a sentiment that Scott would come to embrace himself.
Throughout his education, Scott’s favorite subjects were art-related. His passion for sculpture solidified after his first sculpture class, leading him to earn a BA in Visual Arts from Brigham Young University.
Scott continues to hone his craft by participating in life drawing and sculpting sessions at the foundry, while working with talented artists, including Utah’s renowned Blair Buswell, Kraig Varner, Jack Morford, Leroy Transfield, and Dennis Smith.
In addition to his freelance sculpting work, Scott is the managing director of a full-service art agency that specializes in bronze sculptures. Scott resides in Lehi with his wife and four children.
Rita Wright, Board Member
Rita is highly regarded, well respected arts and museum consultant and historian. She filled the interim director role at UVU’s Museum of Art at Lakemount and was the director of the Springville Museum of Art. Before joining the Springville Museum of Art she was Curator of Art and Artifacts at the Church History Museum in Salt Lake City, UT. She sits on the worldwide committee for art selection for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Earlier, Rita and her husband operated an art and design business in California before moving to Utah to become an instructor at BYU. She led the academic department at the Brigham Young University Museum of Art (MOA) while also teaching at the university.[3] She worked for eight years at the MOA, working on major exhibits of the works of Carl Bloch and James Tissot.[4]
Rita completed a bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Brigham Young University. She received her PhD from the University of Utah. Rita currently resides in Salt Lake City with her husband and five children close at hand.
Ardice Lorscheider, Board Member
Ardice is the founder and creative mind behind Ardice + Co., as well as a public speaker and advocate for the special needs community.
In her personal and professional life, Ardice creates welcoming spaces for people of all ages, along with uniquely designed gardening experiences, to form deeper connections through the boundless joy that nature has to offer.
Her work finds her engaging local small businesses and entrepreneurs to host events and cultivate the loving, healing, and supportive community all deserve.
Ardice is sought nationally and has had the esteemed honor of speaking for the National Ability Center, as well as being featured on the Today Show. She currently serves as chair of the Special Needs Committee for Utah’s own Uplift Families organization.
Ardice lives in Alpine with her three wonderfully energetic daughters, her husband, two adorable garden buns, and the most loveable furry Barbet, Mr. Summit.
Gary Streadbeck, President Emeritus
Gary, along with his brothers Brian and Steven, founded Adonis Bronze, the Alpine Art Center, and Heritage Arts Foundation. All were driven by a lifelong passion for art that was ignited while exploring Europe’s beautiful landscapes, magnificent cathedrals, and iconic sculptures under the influence of his father, Arval Streadbeck.
Under his leadership, Adonis Bronze has served prestigious clients such as Walt Disney, the NFL Football Hall of Fame, the Smithsonian, Mount Vernon, and the Capitol Rotunda in Washington, D.C., including numerous LDS temples, museums, historical buildings, and governments (domestic and international). The foundry supports nearly 200 artists annually, providing exceptional bronze casting, historical art restoration, and preservation services.
In addition to creating and introducing art to others, Gary’s passionate about his family, faith and racing (super-modified sprint cars). He and his wife, Mary Kay, have seven children and reside in Alpine.

Cari Edwards Wilson
Cari Edwards Wilson is a seasoned graphic designer with over 5 years of diversified experience in both paid and volunteer marketing roles.
Cari has effectively supported an array of clients, including local businesses (Salt Marketplace, etc.), and individuals and families (weddings and family history books). Her collaboration with local authors on book layouts and publications further underscores her versatility and dedication to her craft. Cari’s academic background includes an AAS in Applied Technology with Certificates in Graphic & Front-end Web Design (BYU-I).
Born and raised in Lehi, Utah, Cari balances her professional endeavors with her roles as a devoted mother to four children and a committed community member. She passionately states, “Graphic design work comes in a close third to faith and family.” Cari and her husband currently reside in Centerville, Utah.
Robert “Bob” Hanson
Robert “Bob” Hanson is a distinguished expert in both for-profit and nonprofit sectors (domestic & international), with a robust background in start-ups, capitalizing, scaling, strategic & operational management, program design, granting, measuring outcomes, creative partnerships and deep experience in traditional & trending fundraising ($130m+).
Bob is part of Heritage Arts Foundation’s leadership, serves on 4 boards, 7 years as Adjunct at Romney Institute, (BYU’s Marriott School) teaching 2nd year MPA students, and owned/operated a private college for 9 years. He holds a BBA in Finance, an MBA, and honorably completed 3 years within the US Army’s elite 82nd Airborne (Fort Bragg, NC), and enjoys serving in his faith/church callings.
Bob and his wife have four children, two grandchildren and reside in American Fork, Utah.
